Fabric Collage Workshop | March 8
Saturday, March 8 | 10:30am-3pm
In this workshop, students will combine simple stitches, with small scraps of fabric, ribbon and other ephemera, to create a frame-worthy piece of fiber art. Each student will be given a surprise box of fabric scraps to use, and we can trade with each other to get the perfect combo! We will discuss color, balance, and ways to arrange/cut/layer our fabric to get an image that is pleasing to us. Will you make a tree? Something abstract? Something random? Something controlled? I can’t wait to find out!
All materials will be provided, including these 6×6” brass frames! Feel free to bring a few of your own special fabric scraps if you want. All levels are welcome to join! We will take a break around 1 to eat, so bring a bag lunch, or plan to get something in town.

Sign up for a class with a friend, and you’ll save money! There will be 2 passes available for every class, and the discount will depend on the class. Sometimes you’ll be able to bring a friend for half price, sometimes less! One friend does the signing up, and then the two of you can split the cost however you want. The key is to sign up early, so you can grab a pass!
