Make your own handmade journal, sketchbook, or photo album with guest teacher, Diana Arcadipone. Handmade books make a wonderful gift, and are a great way to exhibit unique fabric or papers you’ve collected.

Please bring light to medium weight fabric to use for your book cover. Fabric should be a natural fiber like silk, linen or cotton. Synthetic fabric like polyester will not work, so if you’re not sure, bring a couple of options with you. Your fabric will need to be big enough to cover your book in one piece, so somewhere around 12 x 24” will work.

All other materials will be provided, but feel free to bring additional papers, buttons, or a clasp to personalize your project.

There will be a short break for lunch during this class. Students should bring a bag lunch or plan to grab food nearby.
