5:30-8pm
Teacher: Kim Hamlin
In this class, Kim will guide you through knitting your first mitten! Students can choose to make either baby, child or adult size mittens, in worsted weight yarn. We will be using The Worlds Simplest Mitten Pattern by Tin Can Knits, written for multiple yarn gauges and hand sizes. It’s a great pattern that you’ll return to again and again. Materials are not included in the class fee, but you will receive 10% off supplies purchased for class.
Newer knitters are welcome to join, but we ask that you already know how to knit, purl and cast on without assistance. You will learn how to increase and decrease stitches, how to pick up stitches, and how to neatly finish your work… great building blocks for more advanced projects!
