Join us for our very first Crochet-a-Long!
We’ll be using the Double Crochet Cowl pattern by Jill Wright. The instructions are straight forward, utilizing both front and back post double crochet stitches to create a squishy, thatched texture, that allows your yarn to shine! This CAL would be great if you’ve never worked in the round or from a pattern before, or if you simply want to meet other crocheters and hang out. The pattern will teach you how to begin with a double crochet foundation chain, which is reason enough to sign up if you don’t already know how! (So much easier than working into a flimsy single chain!) Pattern calls for a color changing noro yarn, but we also carry a handful of ombre and solid colors that would work nicely too.
Skills needed:
To join this CAL you should already know how to chain, slip stitch, and double crochet. We can help with anything else!
