The 24 hour cowl kit pairs Moonshine, a luxurious alpaca/wool/silk blend yarn from Juniper Moon Farm with a thin strand of fluffy mohair from Ella Rae. Don’t be mislead by the title, it certainly won’t take 24 hours to make this cowl! We were able to finish ours in a 24 hour time period and thought it would be a catchy name. This pattern is so quick and easy to make, it’s not uncommon to see customers picking up kits to make their third, fourth, or even fifth version! The hardest part is picking a color!

Kit includes:

• Yarn: 1 skein Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine (40% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 20% silk; 197 yards) and 1 skein Ella Rae Silky Kid (76% super kid mohair, 24% silk; 219 yards). These two yarns are held together throughout the project.

Additional materials/tools needed:

• Needles: US #8 16" circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.

Pattern info:

• Gauge: 14 stitches = 4” in spiral stitch pattern. (About 4 stitches per 1” in stockinette stitch) Exact gauge is not crucial for this project!

• Finished Size: 11” tall, 24” around.
